Welcome to the GWMBSize official website. The home of all Groupwise mailbox size information.

GWMBSize makes mailbox management for Groupwise Administrators more easy. It will extract all information from the GWCheck.log file created by GWCheck of GWCHKSRV modules. It will then make a nice HTML report and a CSV file for importing in your favourite spreadsheet program.

For large organisations GWMBSize also supports batch file processing using the commandline instead of the GUI version. Please check the manual for more information.

A little small FAQ: 20081221

Q: What do all the column headers mean?

A: Size (MB) - Size in Megabytes (1024 x 1024 x 1024 bytes), Inbox, Outbox, Wastebin are item counts, so if the Inbox says 234 it has 234 items in the inbox.

Q: What does the dot or comma mean?

A: If there are dot's or comma's in the MB values it is a thousand seperator. So 10.345 and 10,345 are both ten thousand threehundred and fortyfive megabytes. The comma (,) is used in the USA as seperator and the dot (.) is used in Europa. For other countries please use the settings TAB, Thousand seperator to choose the correct one.

Q: Can you provide other information then what's in the logs?

A: No, GWMBSize only re-formats the LOG file and only picks out a few values. If it is not in the LOG, it will not be in the Report.
